SENIOR SOUS CHEF - PERMANENT POSITION

Old Queen Street Café, Westminster, London

Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum + paid overtime

Hours: Full-time, 42.5 hours, 5 shifts per week

Location: Historic Westminster, close to Westminster and St James Park tube stations

Start Date: Immediate start available


Your Role

  • Execute & oversee modern British dishes (60-cover brasserie + events)
  • Lead 8–10-strong kitchen; manage ordering, budgets, stock
  • Drive quality & high standards
  • Cover Head Chef duties ~10 hrs/week


What You Bring

  • 3+ years as Sous/Senior Sous in fast-paced, multi faceted venues
  • Passion for seasonality and fresh produce; event catering experience
  • Financial management & team leadership skills
  • Understanding of modern kitchen management systems & technology
